It has been reported that Jeff Allen Stewart, 49, of Bradenton, forced his way into an elderly couple's home and threatened, "I'm going to put a bullet in both your heads." Manatee County authorities arrested Stewart on a North Port Police warrant for burglary and two counts of battery on an elderly person.
Police stated that Stewart barged his way into the home of the 86 year old couple because he thought his daughter was staying there. The invader reportedly did not believe the couple when they told him his daughter was not present. Detectives say Stewart manhandled the husband, searched the house, knocked the phone from the wife's hand as she dialed 911, and pushed her against a wall.
